Yunlin horticultural production area also is part of Taiwan’s high-tech agricultural demonstration area. On April 20, six members of Indonesia-Taiwan Friendship Association visited Gukeng Township Orchid Greenhouse, include Deputy Magistrate Mrs. E.H. Aini Yohan. Their tour was accompanied by Yunlin County Deputy Magistrate Mr. Shi KeHe, while association members were impressed by the achievement of transforming a traditional business into a high-tech industry, they hopes to achieve the same standard in the future.
Deputy Magistrate Shi said, in addition to the industry development, Yunlin County dedicates great effort in agriculture industry as well. Leading local agriculture development with high tech implements, and promotes only the finest products.
Mr. Shi point out, the horticulture production area, represent local farmer’s dedication, to improve agriculture industry, and discover industry’s future direction through technological implementation. The hardworking farmers and their years of rich experience enabled to establish more horticulture area in the future.
